The victim (E442) is a named female. The victim attended a Catholic Church in a known location in China. The victim was arrested and a black cloth placed over her head. The victim was detained in Baishan penal facility and refouled to Manpo City MPS detention centre. The victim was interrogated at Manpo City MSS detention centre and Manpo City MPS holding centre, where they were forced to labour, and Hyesan City MPS detention centre. The victim was interrogated on their links to Christianity and was physically assaulted and punched on their chin three times. The victim suffered hearing loss and difficulties using their legs. The victim was sent to trial and sentenced to a re-education camp. Certain information is withheld for the safety of the victim’s family.
