The victim (E440) is a named female. The victim was arrested for distributing bibles and was detained at Ryanggang Provincial MSS holding centre. The victim was blindfolded and had her ears plugged. The victim was later interrogated about religion and was told to recite passages of the bible to MSS officers for their amusement. The victim slept on the cell floor without a blanket and was forced to sit in one position every day for a known period. The victim was transferred to a re-education camp and forced to divorce her husband. Certain information is withheld for the victim’s safety.
